    Used to be much better place with which to do business. However : Last few contacts - just bad. Came in to store , spoke to owner / manager - arranged a date and time for him to come over and measure for a bedroom, after he took a trip to another state. Date arrived - no visit for measurements ; No call. Not that day or any other day. Changed review to 3 stars - should have added comments but refrained. Based on my history with them. ( this would've been the * 4th * room I used them for )
    Bought cheap laminate from HD ; searched for an independent installer. Various frustrations. Decided to give GVL Carpet color tile another chance. Nice man named Joe came out to do the measurement ( 3rd time I had had this same room measured in about two months ) but whatever. Went well ; picked up samples at the store and he had already set aside a couple he thought might interest me. I thought - maybe this will work out after all , and restore my faith in this place.
    Alas , it was not to be. He placed one call to me in the course of all this ; to see what I had chosen , and work up details. I was at work , so I called him back. Got VM and left a message.
    A week went by. No return call. I finally call THEM . ( they don't want business , apparently ). I get Joe Bc he answers phone - he informs me he " never got the VM from me". Hmmm. Well , guess it COULD happen ... Sketchier all the time. He asks for the name / info of my choice I say well I left all that on the VM but ...
    I call him back after I find the flooring info in my phone. He takes down info , then says he has to look into it with the supplier or something , and says " I'm with a customer now so I'll have to get back to you ". Fair enough
    That was OVER A WEEK AGO
    you know- I can be a pretty patient person , but there comes a point where even I don't need to be hit with a brick. 1) No Call / No Show by manager a few months back. No recall nor subsequent apology call. 2) I give them another chance- and again - no responses to VMs, no call - backs. Just : poof. It's like they don't want my business ( have pre-approved Color Tile credit so - they knew they were going to get paid )
    I'm not going to chase these people and beg them to spend my money with their Store. Credit line or No. I'll FIND someone ( anyone?) who WANTS MY BUSINESS. Not people who act as if they are doing you a favor.
    My advice Is: pick another company !!!

    Friendly and very pleasant staff when it came to making our purchase.

    However, some material was forgotten when I went to pick up the order, so I had to take an additional trip back to the store.

    My biggest complaint was trying to return the excess material. I was informed by one employee over the phone that they have a very good relationship with the manufacturer of the floors, so it would probably be no issue at all and was transferred to the owners phone to discuss the issue. I left a very detailed message and never received a call back (a week went by). I decided to just drive there to speak to them in person. I dealt with the same employee that sold us the floors. From the get go I was told repeatedly sorry this and that - it would cost $75 to return the materials. I inquired about the underlayment and he stated that I had purchased it from Home Depot - so, no. I wish I had bought it from Home Depot because they would of taken it back. When he finally realized I purchased it from them, he explained that it was a special order that they hardly ever use, so they couldn't take it back. I was a bit annoyed because he highly recommended the specially ordered underlayment himself!!! Add to that, he stated we should of had them install the floors, so it wouldn't have been an issue when returning the extra material. Mind you, he had the measurements and calculated how much material we needed. I left disappointed with $320 worth of extra material that he suggested I should sell on eBay! Seriously, disappointed with them. I'm glad we bought our porcelian tiles at Home Depot - they were less expensive (for the same exact tiles sold at carpetplus) and returning the excess material included no hassle whatsoever.
