  This was my first time doing a hot yoga class and I was hesitant to go based on some of the negative reviews posted here. I've done a few yoga classes here and there, but never had a continuous practice. The facilities seemed very clean and well-kept. The floor was a rubbery material and the walls were painted in shades of brown that were very pleasing and not distracting. One wall is entirely mirrors so you can watch yourself and self-correct poses (and also watch others to figure out what to do in some cases).
  
  The instructor was thorough in most descriptions, but lead mainly by example, doing the poses along with the group. She never came around and correct poses, so the class would definitely be easier for those who have at least some basic experience with the poses. There were many different levels present however, so if you weren't comfortable with a full pose there were always others around doing modified versions to copy, and the instructor mentioned when poses were difficult how to alter them for the less flexible or strong so I never felt pressured to try poses that may be painful or too far for my current level of fitness.Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend it to those with a basic foundation who are looking for a solid workout and sweat.
