  This review is for my elderly mother who is a patient of Dr Baker. Prior to living in Gainesville she purchased Miracle Ear hearing aids on two separate occasions. I am not sure whether it was the hearing aids or the doctors who sold them to her but, in both instances, the products failed to meet even basic expectations. When she moved here, and while the second pair of hearing aids were still under extended warranty, I took her to a local franchise for adjustments. The audiologist there initially wanted several hundred dollars to repair them and then tried to sell her an upgraded set. My mother ended up going several months without being able to hear and completely disgusted with the industry. I do not remember exactly how I found out about Audiology by Accent but I was able to get my reluctant mother to try getting help for her hearing one last time. She was examined here and saw Dr Baker. He measured her and had a pair made. He fitted them for her and made sure that they were adjusted right. She has been wearing them for a year now and I can not over emphasize what a difference that these have made for her quality of life. Dr. Baker has made quarterly adjustments and cleanings that were part of the original cost. Several months ago she dropped one and stepped on it. I took it to Dr Baker and he was able to have the damaged piece replaced at a very fair price and in several days. Dr Baker is a very nice and patient man. He knows his business. I also want to point out that my mother paid less to Audiology by Accent than she did for her prior purchases. I would not hesitate to recommend Audiology by Accent to anyone with hearing issues.
